Presbury is rooted and located in the heart of Edgewood, a diverse and vibrant community in Harford County. We love our community and our ministry is joyfully centered around serving our neighbors.
Presbury's local Methodist roots can be traced all the way back to 1720, with the construction of the Presbury Methodist Meeting House located on what is now Aberdeen Proving Ground. It was a frequent preaching spot for Francis Asbury, the first bishop of American Methodism who was integral to the formation of the denomination.
Presbury's current building dates back 50 years to 1968, the same year of the formation of The United Methodist Church denomination.
Presbury is blessed to be a part of a Cooperateive Parish with Cranberry UMC since 2017. Along with sharing our pastor, we do a number of mission, worship and fellowship events throughout the year together.
