Connection to God and one another through prayer, conversation, fun and fellowship is vital to a healthy community of faith.
We foster connection together and out in our community in many ways:
PRAYER - We regularly keep in touch with our congregation throughout the week, sharing our prayer requests and being in prayer for one another and our community. For example, in the wake of a mass shooting in Edgewood, Presbury joined with community churches to host a prayer vigil to pray for victims. During Ash Wedneday, Pastor Tiffany has gone out into the community to give "Ashes to Go" to those at the Edgewood Metro Station and Edgewood Plaza. On Good Friday and on our 50th Anniversary, Presbury went on a Prayer Walk, carrying the cross and stopping to pray at different places in our community.
EVERY SUNDAY after worship we have a social hour of food and fellowship.
FUN EVENTS are planned throughout the year - like Pie and Game Night (in celebration of Pi Day on March 14th), Paint Nights, and Breakfast with Santa.
COMMUNITY PARTNERSHIPS allow us to connect with our community in prayer and action in vital ways. We celebrate our partnership with our local schools, nonprofit organizations, interfaith groups, NA and AA groups, social justice initiatives, and other local churches. We love growing our connection with our community!
There is always an opportunity to connect at Presbury and in our community. Check out the latest opportunity below! Contact us if you want to get connected at Presbury.
