About Us
Presbury Cranberry picnic.jpg

Our church is located in the heart of Edgewood, a diverse and vibrant community in Harford County. Our ministry is joyfully centered around serving our neighbors.

We reflect the diversity of our community, welcoming people of any background, ability, age, sex, gender, nationality, race, status, sexual orientation, or economic condition into the full life of the church.

We also value our interfaith relationships in our community, and welcome opportunities to connect and serve together.

Presbury's History

Presbury traces our roots to the 1720 construction of the Presbury Methodist Meeting House in what is now Aberdeen Proving Ground. It was a frequent preaching destination for Francis Asbury, the first bishop of American Methodism.

Our current building dates to 1968, the same year that the Methodist Church and Evangelical United Brethren joined to form the United Methodist Church.

We continue to expand our community outreach, partnering with local schools and other community organizations to care for our neighbors in need.

Mission Central Parish
