PRAY and REACH OUT: We are giving updates via our facebook page, email and phone tree. Let us know if you have any prayer requests. Reach out to one another via phone, text, social media or email. Pray for those who are sick, for a vaccine availability, for those most vulnerable to this virus, for hospitals and medical professionals, for our government leaders, for our economy, and for those who are stressed and anxious. Indeed, there is so much to pray for! We as a church family can be a beacon of God's love to people by supporting, encouraging and praying for one another and our community.
These words from the apostle Paul seem fitting for such a time as this: “Don’t be anxious about anything; rather, bring up all of your requests to God in your prayers and petitions, along with giving thanks. Then the peace of God that exceeds all understanding will keep your hearts and minds safe in Christ Jesus.” (Philippians 4:6-7)
Peace and blessings,
"You’re here to be light,
bringing out the God-colors
in the world.
God is not a secret to be kept. We’re going public with this,
as public as a city on a hill.
If I make you light-bearers,
you don’t think I’m going to hide you under a bucket, do you?
I’m putting you on a light stand. Now that I’ve put you there
on a hilltop, on a light stand—shine!"
Matthew 5:14-16 (The Message)
